Loving God, we pray for the Church across the world, that it be a refuge for all people. We ask Your strength and wisdom for those who serve the Church, especially our priest, Joseph; our bishops Melissa and Brian; and presiding Bishop, Michael. In the Anglican Communion we pray for The Church of the Province of Central Africa, and in our diocese, we pray for St. John’s, Snohomish. In Your abundance, make all things new.
Wonderful Counselor, we pray for this nation and all in authority, that they are guided by Your kindness and truth. Let a fear of scarcity be driven out by a spirit of generosity and welcome. In Your abundance, make all things new.
Savior, we yearn for the renewal of the world. Today we remember those impacted by climate change and this season’s extreme heat. Teach us not to be afraid in the face of disaster and pain, but to work and wait in patient hope for Your redemption. In Your abundance, make all things new.
We pray for the congregation of St. Hilda St. Patrick, and for all who interact with our building and land: those who maintain our facilities, work the soil, walk the prayer labyrinth, attend support groups, use the sock box and food pantry, and worship here together. As we navigate the world’s new normal, grant us a spirit of confidence and discernment as your beloved children. In Your abundance, make all things new.
Gracious God, deliver all who suffer or are in any trouble. We especially remember those who have commended themselves to our prayers: Karen; Kelly and Marcus; Emilio; Ian; Barbara; Christine; Sue; Giles; Denice; Jim; Richard; Suzanne; and those we now name, either silently or aloud. In Your abundance, make all things new.
Compassionate Spirit, we pray for those who have died and those who grieve their loss. We especially remember Elaine; and those we now name, either silently or aloud. In Your abundance, make all things new.
Generous Creator, we thank you for the beauty and joy in this life. Today we are grateful for those celebrating special occasions, especially Valerie; Carol; Pat; Sue; Gavin and Tiffany; Alex and Anne; and those we now name, either silently or aloud. In Your abundance, make all things new.
AMEN.
