Let us pray for the Church, for its witness, mission, and ministry. Pray that life be breathed into it.
Let us pray for the Church, for its leaders and unity. Pray for Francis; the bishop of Rome, Bartholomew, the ecumenical patriarch of Constantinople; Justin, the Archbishop of Canterbury; Michael, the Presiding Bishop; Melissa and Brian; our bishops; Joseph, our vicar; the Bishop’s Committee that guides our church; the Anglican Church of South America; Trinity, Seattle; and Church of the Apostles, Seattle. Pray that the church raise the dead.
Let us pray for peace; for goodwill among nations; and for the well-being of all people. Pray for justice and peace.
Let us pray for the poor, the sick, the hungry, the oppressed, and those in prison. Pray for those in any need or trouble.
Let us pray for those who have commended themselves to our prayers: Emilio; Ian; Barbara; Christine; Sue; Giles; Denice; Jim; Richard; Chris; Mike; Eileen; Taylor; Zach; and those we name now silently or aloud. Pray for their healing in mind, body, and spirit.
Let us pray for all who seek God, or a deeper knowledge of God, especially Arya and Aydin and all who will be baptized during Easter season Pray that they may find and be found by God.
Let us pray for the departed especially Sara; Fred; Linda; Bob; and those we name now, either silent or aloud. Pray for those who have died.
Let us pray in thanksgiving for those celebrating birthday this week, especially Leslie; Bernie; and Klara. Pray for their joy.
Let us pray in thanksgiving for all the good things we have in our lives, all of which come from God, especially those gifts which we name now either silently or aloud. Pray for grateful hearts.
Give us grace, O Lord, to answer readily the call of our Savior Jesus Christ and proclaim to all people the Good News of his salvation, that we and the whole world may perceive the glory of his marvelous works; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
