While the New Testament refers to all of Jesus’ followers as saints, the Church through time has set aside certain people as exemplars of Christian faith. All Souls Day, or the Feast of All Faithful Departed offers a time to reflect on all who have died as they move closer to the Light. All Souls Day is particularly worthy of observance in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic. Whether active at St. Hilda St. Patrick or not, you are invited to pray for the dead and remember all who have died.
If you would like someone who has died remembered — from COVID19 or otherwise — please complete this form with their names. They will be remembered aloud on Monday, November 2.
